What this policy covers
This policy covers website visits and the enquiries, consultation requests, quotation requests and general career correspondence you send to hello@mioroutsourcing.com. It applies to visitors and correspondents in Canada, the USA, the UK, Ireland, Australia, India and elsewhere. Online form submission and CV uploads are not currently enabled on this website.
Client projects, employment arrangements and recruitment assignments may involve separate agreements and privacy information. This policy does not replace those arrangements or govern independent websites you reach through a link.
Information we collect
Information you send directly to us by email may include your contact details, business requirements, professional experience, a CV or résumé, and any other information you choose to include. If you share a professional profile or portfolio link, we may review the professional information available through it.
- Enquiries: your email address, name, company, phone number, country, service of interest, message and related correspondence, to the extent you choose to provide them.
- Career correspondence: your contact details, location, professional experience, areas of interest, working preferences, introduction, professional links and any CV or résumé you choose to email.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages where supplied by your browser, security signals and error records processed by the website hosting and security providers.
- The website currently directs you to email us. It does not collect contact-form entries or accept CV files through an online submission service.
What you choose to provide
You can browse without emailing us or supplying information about yourself. Choose what to include in your correspondence. We need enough information to understand your request and a way to reply; without it, we may be unable to help. Selecting a website contact button does not itself send us your personal details.
Please keep submissions relevant. Do not include payment details, passwords, government identification numbers, medical records or other sensitive information in a message or CV. Avoid including another person's contact details, such as a referee's, unless they know you are sharing them and you have permission.
Emailing us does not subscribe you to a marketing list. This website is intended for business contacts and adult applicants. If a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to respond, clarify requirements, arrange discussions and prepare proposed scopes or quotations. We use application information to consider your professional experience and interests and communicate about your application or a relevant opportunity. We also use necessary technical information to run the website, deliver messages, investigate errors, prevent abuse and maintain reliable records.
Where consent is required, we use information for the purposes explained when it is collected and seek additional consent for a materially different purpose where required. You may withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn, and may prevent us from continuing the relevant request.
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, our grounds are legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, considering general applications and protecting our website; taking steps at your request before entering a contract with you where relevant; and meeting applicable legal obligations. We balance legitimate interests against your rights. We rely on consent where the law requires it, rather than treating a website visit as blanket consent.
Limits on sharing
We do not sell personal information collected through this website or share it for targeted advertising. A general career application is not permission to circulate your CV to unrelated employers. If a recruitment opportunity requires sharing your details with a prospective employer, we will explain the proposed use and obtain any permission required before doing so.
Providers receive information needed for their role. Additional disclosure may be necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, investigate misuse, or establish or defend a legal claim. We do not make submitted enquiries or CVs publicly available.
International handling
The website operator is registered in Gujarat, India. The Mior business is headquartered in Canada, with an India office and local presence across the USA, Australia, Ireland and the UK. Depending on who handles your request and which hosting or email provider systems are involved, information may be accessed or processed outside your country, including in India, Canada and the USA. A local office does not mean that website information stays in that country.
Privacy laws and authorities' access powers can differ between countries. A transfer subject to legal restrictions must use an applicable transfer mechanism and safeguards. Depending on the transfer, this may involve a recognised adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, together with any additional measures required by law. Contacting us is not a waiver of those requirements.
Contact hello@mioroutsourcing.com if you would like information about the destinations, providers or safeguards relevant to your information, including a copy or description of applicable safeguards where available under law.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence while needed to respond, manage an active business discussion and maintain necessary records. We keep general application information while it remains relevant to reviewing the application and any follow-up you agree to. Retention depends on the status of the request, the relationship, the sensitivity of the information and any applicable legal, recordkeeping or dispute requirements. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to the retention exceptions described here.
Hosting and security providers retain technical records according to their service arrangements and applicable requirements. Emails, attachments and related correspondence have separate retention needs from website technical logs. The current website does not run an online form submission store or CV upload repository.
You may ask us to delete your information or stop considering your application. We will assess the request under applicable law, explain any information we need to retain and restrict its use to that reason. Copies in backups may remain until the relevant backup cycle ends.
Security and automated decisions
The website uses its hosting providers to deliver pages and support website security. Please take care when deciding what to send by email, particularly in attachments. Internet transmission, email and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure. We do not publish enquiries or emailed CVs as downloadable website files.
No automated CV scoring or solely automated hiring decision is part of this website. Hosting providers may use automated security checks to identify or restrict suspicious traffic. Those checks do not assess your suitability for employment or decide whether we will provide a service to you.
Your choices and rights
Email us at hello@mioroutsourcing.com to ask about information we hold, request a correction, withdraw an application, raise a privacy concern or exercise a privacy right. Explain your request and the contact details used in your submission. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorised representative's authority, without asking for unnecessary documents.
Depending on your location, the processing and the law that applies, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, transfer eligible information, or withdraw consent. Applicable US state law may also provide rights concerning targeted advertising, sale or sharing, appeals and equal treatment when exercising rights. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law, explain any refusal or necessary extension, and describe any available appeal route. You can raise a complaint with the relevant privacy authority without giving up any other legal remedy. We ask you to contact us first where practical so we can try to resolve your concern, but this does not limit your right to approach an authority directly.
In Canada, this may be the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial authority. In the UK it is the Information Commissioner's Office; in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission; and in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Visitors in the USA, India or another country may contact the authority responsible under the law applicable to their concern.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, practices or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page. Where a change materially affects how existing information is used, we will provide additional notice and obtain further consent where required before applying the new use.
